Friends you have known for months (or even years!) that you finally meet in person for the first time.
Blessed to get to know and finally meet so many amazing friends in person every time I attend @vision.expo.
Grateful for the supportive atmosphere our colleagues create for one another. So much so that, when you actually meet each other in person, it’s like you’re meeting old friends!

Around this date 4 years ago, I was in Jordan with this incredible team of doctors as part of the first (and so far only) @onesight clinic ever coordinated in the Middle East region.

It was a massive effort. Very long days. Thousands of patients. And an profound amount of gratitude.

I still remember a quote from one of our team members at the end of the trip:
“We came to Jordan to help people see. But it was the people here who have helped us see.”

That’s what service to others can do.
